The salon has been held since 2004. Organizers: Public Organization "All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators"; Federal Service for Intellectual Property; Legislative Assembly of the City of Sevastopol; Federation of Cosmonautics of Russia; Sevastopol Regional Public Organization "VOIR"; Association "Cluster "Energy Saving"; Sevastopol Chamber of Commerce; Scientific School of Causality; International Innovation Center the Archimedes Club; the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA).

This salon is held in order to exchange experience in the field of invention and rationalization, which is attended by leading experts from various regions of the Russian Federation, countries of the near and far abroad. The 20th International Youth Innovation and Development Competition will be held within the framework of the salon. Participants and guests are given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the priority innovative projects of the inventors of the Russian Federation and the countries of the near and far abroad.
